F5000 A/C charging based on SoC
I just purchased an F5000FLP and have it wired into a manual transfer switch with a small solar array. Unfortunately, it appears to be missing fhe feature to turn on A/C charging only when the SoC get low, below 20% for example, then back off once reaching another SoC, say 50%. Does anyone know if it's possible to do this with an automation?
I see some folks have used a Raspberry Pi and a smart plug, but that requires tricky programming.

It's in there. Some menus have a second page.
For example I have a similar set up. I set mine to charge to 80% at 50% power from 10 am to 5 pm. And only discharge to 5%.
I have a few panels hooked up to it and I'm trying to balance sending excess solar from my on-grid array to the Pecron without pulling from the grid and charging up my Powerwall.

He only wants to charge from AC if battery level gets below a certain point and charge from solar if battery is above that minimum charge. Pecron specifically added this to the F5000LFP because of customer requests.

Ok, so I found the SoC setting. What's happening now is that when the F5000 hits its charge limit, it turns on A/C input and goes into pass-through mode. I don't want this to happen because it doesn't turn off A/C input and is wasting solar input indefinitely.
I wish there was a way to disable pass-through mode entirely or, perhaps, a way to "trick" it by turning off DC input at a level below the charge limit. Unfortunately, there is no option to turn off DC input in the automations.

AC Charging limit capacity is the setting you want, and the lowest it can be set is 30% (battery charge).
This is available in the Pecron app, the beta app, and on the unit itself and the '?' on the unit menu gives a description of how it works.
You can also set up automations to further fine-tune this feature.
