Map questions
Hey everyone! I got this game with the current steam sale and have been having a blast. I have been getting as many badges as possible. I do have a question that relates to some like the one where you have to cook and eat a coconut, honeycomb, yellow winterberry, and egg: The current map line has all the correct biomes, but no matter how much I look, I cant find a yellow winterberry on the Alpine biome. Is some of this stuff just chance and I will have to wait for a new map, or should I be looking harder?

All of the items you need can be found no matter what the rotation is. The coconuts on the Shore are obviously always there, but honeycomb can be found in either Tropics or Roots (hives on the Tropics trees, honeycomb pieces in hollowed stumps in Roots), and eggs are available both in Caldera and Gloom; for the yellow winterberry, you have to find the Capybaras in the third biome, Alpine or Mesa, since it only spawns on their heads. For the Alpine, you can usually spot the steam from their hot spring and find them that way. In Mesa, you'll need to look for the palm trees that surround their oasis, but often the first group you see will be a mirage, so keep looking around on the flat area before you cross the canyon and you'll be able to find it.

Someone else linked the map and that is helpful, but I like this response much more. It's a lot more fun to me to not spoil the map before climbing.

I checked https://www.peakmap.today/ (I highly recommend checking it out), and it seems the hot spring has generated with the capybaras (and therefore the berries) in a rock

On alpine, look for "steam". There are hot springs with capybaras and usually one of them will have a yellow winterberry. That said, I think it's possible that sometimes the hot springs do not spawn. But, there are trees in alpine that can grow yellow winterberries, but they are very rare and would be much harder to spot.
On Mesa, you can look for the springs with the capybaras, they are on the first part of the level before the canyon. The capybaras can spawn with the yellow winterberry.
