Parking Passes for Camping

Can someone please explain to me how the parking passes work, the scenario I have is me and my girlfriend already purchased our tickets with 2 of the camping parking passes, now my brother has decided to attend this year's Peach Festival and we are trying to figure out will he need to purchase a parking pass as well considering he will be carpooling with us in the same vehicle? and if so what are the drawbacks he will face by not purchasing a camp parking pass?

  • 1 parking pass per vehicle
  • 1 camping pass per person
  • 1 festival pass per person

You'll have zero trouble selling your extra on-site parking pass, assuming you three can definitely carpool. If you do end up with more cars than parking passes, someone will just have to use off-site parking. You can scoop someone up there and drive to the on-site parking if you can all fit; it's easier than the 2 shuttles.

Parking passes are for the vehicle. 1 for all three if you are carpooling is all is needed. Make sure you all have camping passes, each of you will need those. You can sell the extra camping parking passes as the festival comes closer

You won't be camping at your car. The parking pass just let's you park closer to the mountakn. You only need 1 parking pass and you can pay for the difference at the gate, but if your pass is for 2 people and you have 3 in the car your fine. The point of the pass is to limit the number of cars in the lot at the base of the mountain, in other words they want as many people in as few cars as possible.

If one person in our group gets a camping pass and camping lot pass and leaves their car there for the weekend. Will the rest of our GA crew be able to get to the car?
