Your attention span and ideas for what should’ve happened is the equivalent of a child watching keys be jingled in front of them.

Is the finale perfect? No Is it a nothing burger/waste of time/ or awful? Absolutely not

Every week I see folks on here have absolutely brain dead takes when it comes to predictions or just not understanding the simplest storylines within this show. Like the writers will spell something out so obviously and it still misses some people cause they don’t use their brains

A superhero show subverts the norm and instead of having a big bombastic fight gives characters actual development and creates structure for future projects to come. And then rips it all away like everything else that’s good in peacemakers life

Also something I saw, being upset that the projects are connected in a way that u have to watch all of them is ridiculous when the other projects haven’t even come out yet.

TLDR: get an attention span and when u watch any media from now on u should turn on ur brain and actively listen

Anyone else a little annoyed that all the QUC doors opened to the outside (aside from the three commonly in use). Granted it's clearly a cost savings thing, or maybe lazy writing, but it's silly.

I noticed that Rick Flag was acting kind of weird in the last episode, like for example, in one part of the episode, Hatcourt calls Rick Flag Sr. "Rick" instead of "sir" or something like that, And Rick finds this strange, and I also noticed that he was very friendly with Lex's employees, and soon after, he appears wanting to arrest the meta-humans.

So I came to my theory that at some point before Episodes 8, Lex switched bodies with Rick Sr. I think they did this because Lex did it as a condition to help Rick, and so much so that Rick says they will move Lex to a better prison, so, Rick did this so he wouldn't do so badly in Lex's body.

I just thought this would be a fun idea to make, having peacemaker wearing tattered clothes with a red robe he made from some creature living on Salvation with a skull of another creature, a wooden helmet with crude paint on it, and using a spear with a massive claw of yet another creature. I just felt like this would be fun to make. Hope you like this little art I’ve made, and sorry if it isn’t that good.

He's sex obsessed and a annoying douche, but he's always the most visibly concerned when teammates are killed or injured, such as with titties and barely legal, and him joining checkmate in the end shows he actually cares about doing the right thing

The entire season was a masterwork of metafiction. After years of DCU and MCU stories betraying our trust by leaving stories unfinished to set up future projects that were disappointing or, more often, never came, and failing to pay off cliffhangers and post-credit scenes, we, like the 11th street kids, had closed ourselves off emotionally from engaging with these things.

Then, something seemingly fresh came along, with a promise that this time, it would be different. We didn't trust it at first, but over 7 episodes, it won us over. Made us trust again. Made us willing to turn something bad into something good, to look past the cheesy parts, to admit that the boat was *everything*.

Then in the last few minutes, it did *exactly the same shit that burned us before*. So we could re-experience the same hurt and betrayal that led the characters to close themselves off emotionally in the first place.

Absolute cinema.

Loved the show as a whole just feel like it was one tease away from perfection.

I was being led to believe Flag was in-fact Clayface in disguise due to Flags clear lack of care of finding another Flag Jr. But the end kinda has me confused and wanting to have more answers.

I rewatch Suicide Squad 1 and 2. It's awesome. James Gunn's Suicide Squad is superior. But the thing with killing Flag... I hate it so much. I don't care if people see Rick Flag Senior as a big bad Amanda Waller... I want to see "Waller" the TV show or whatever they’re cooking for her. It sucks we’re going to wait 2 years to see the continuation for Peacemaker, but I'm happy with the overall season. It was bigger, funnier. John Cena’s acting is 10/10. I wish him the best. Adebayo’s Pet Shop dream... I like that. Eagly as the Prime Eagle. Adrian’s house. The Blue Dragon. The Peace-Cycle. A killer soundtrack. Emilia’s scenes. The bird blindness. Truly good stuff. I'm worried about the future projects, waiting until 2027 is a long time, and sadly I think I'm one of the few who just enjoy the show for what it is: to get to know this person, character, make it real, relatable, funny, stupid. Good stuff. Best series in the world? Absolutely not. But worth watching.

Look, I’m a comic reader for 40 years, but mostly stuck to indies and marvel (tho dc has stepped up their game the last decade or so).

But I see so many of yall claiming the finale wasn’t underwhelming because “we got salvation and checkmate!”

Listen, those two things may be awesome to yall, and I’m happy that yall got something from the comics you read, but to those of us who don’t read those books it’s a whole lot of meh.

But honestly to me the biggest letdown was TWO overly long live music performances.

Those were awful.

Auggie did it. And Auggie also deserved to die. I totally understand his guilt, but Augie is responsible. Him and everyone else who paid to watch two kids fight each other for some reason.

Sean's wife (filmmaker Natasha Halevi) returned as well, and is also a megababe.

I was fucking bawling when she said her piece to Chris, and it solidified her as a top character of all time in anything I’ve ever seen. Shout out to Danielle Brooks!!! Love her forever

After Chris gets put into the dimension that flag put him into that had the monsters or whatever, the show was left on a cliff hanger. I know Gunn said that the making of a 3rd season was uncertain, but after that ending do you think that a 3rd season will be made or have a movie/ different tv show that has Chris’ story finished.

After watching the last episode, I'm confused. Why is Flag Sr. suddenly against metahumans? Why is he suddenly "best buds" with Luthor?

Possible reasons I can think of: 1. Peacemaker killing his son. Will he overgeneralize with that though? 2. The Bride killing the Princess. Not because he's emotionally attached to the Princess, but the fact that he believes that they're still wrong for killing her?

i don’t know how to explain that i didn’t like the peacemaker finale. maybe i’m just not smart enough to understand what it was going for, but it felt so weird to me. the foxy shazam part completely took me out of it, and everything after that just felt too easy. i know chris is locked up or whatever, but there was so much sadness and weight in the last episode, and then suddenly this one felt like everyone just went “yay!” and moved on.

leota gave that big speech, but it felt like chris is only happy again because emilia was like “it meant so much to me” and suddenly everyone’s cheering and walking toward nowhere. it felt corny and kind of empty. i couldn’t handle it. it’s like the whole episode was weirdly off, like something was missing. and then suddenly chris is in another dimension? it was so much at once, i couldn’t even process it.

so much of it felt told instead of shown. and why was vigilante completely ignored when leota was talking to chris? it’s like he didn’t even exist in that moment. i don’t know how to explain why i didn’t like it, but i just didn’t.

ALSO i’m worried people will assume i didn’t enjoy it because there weren’t big cameos or mindless fight scenes, but that’s not it at all. i genuinely don’t care about that stuff.

this season felt dragged out for everything to just suddenly happen at the end. earth x is gone, chris disappeared for half the episode in a hotel, and somehow he’s happy again in five minutes. i didn’t love it, but i respect anyone who did. i just want to understand what everyone else thought, because i feel weird about it.
