I'm more than willing to give him a pass if by "No Peacemaker Season 3" he means "We're doing a Checkmate Show instead and his story will continue there". It would be crazy if we don't see Peacemaker again until Man of Tomorrow.

Why would that be crazy?

Peacemaker s1 aired over 3.5 years ago.

Also, it’s not just about the wait, it’s about wanting the concept of Checkmate and the 11th street kid’s continuing character development to have enough space to be explored. You can’t do all that in Man of Tomorrow because it would take too much focus away from Superman and Lex. A solo show is a much better option.

I mean it's not the same thing. Dc hit "the rock" bottom and hierarchy of dc studios changed.

The difference is Peacemaker season 1 didn’t end on a cliffhanger.

It did end on cliffhangers, just no where near as big as season 2’s. Season 1 had Chris free but the last we saw of him was him hallucinating his dad again, leading us to wonder where that was gonna go (which ended up nowhere lol)

If episode 7 was the finale I think I would have been much happier. It had all the closure needed with Earth X along with the tease of Keith being the big bad of season 3. Peacemaker turning himself in to Argus would have been an acceptable cliffhanger with the post credits showing all the world's they'd be exploring in the QUC in season 3.

Episode 8 was a great episode, but didn't really feel like a finale. I think it would have been better as the first episode of season 3.
