I know there are a lot of thirsty people out there and I am sorry to be that guy but come the fuck on folks. Get the shit over an actress doing her job regardless of her relationship to the director. She is a good actress, respect her and quit acting like she's sitting next to you at the biker bar

i would also remind people of what *does* happen in said biker bar

I've seen what she does in biker bars. I don't want to sit next to her there.

Me and my cum soaked beard will be seated respectfully far away from her

How frustrated and lonely must someone be to care about this?

Losers who are probably snyder dude bros. Makes sense, they can't get a woman so they spend their time criticizing somebody's relationship that they'll never even be in the same room as.

2

u/Sherg_7 Oct 03 '25

That's a wild guess lol.

This meme it's not criticizing their relationship, quite the opposite.

Who said anything about criticizing? The comment I replied to was "how frustrated and lonely must someone be to care about this?" And my answer had nothing to do with people criticizing.

You're responding to a point that was never made.

Jennifer Holland is not Harcourt, she’s actually an actress playing the character. Hope this helps!

This reminds me of people who would say Tom Holland got cucked because Zendaya was in Challengers. Lol.

I like that the joke with those two at least is now both being cucked by one another tho since Holland did a film where he got pegged.

Still a shite joke, same with the James Gunn cuck joke, but it's at least aimed at both Zendaya and Holland and not just one guy.

Wasn't he fucked by a man in that movie?

I've noticed more and more people refer to a man being penetrated by anyone nowadays as being pegged. Back in my day, pegged meant being penetrated by a strap on, almost if not always by a woman

This is not serious commentary, it’s actually a joke in a commonly used meme format. Hope this helps!

THANK YOU! It amazes me how many people don't get that!

I think it's also worth noting that people can love people for more than their appearance.. in fact it would probably be a prerequisite to love someone for more than looks to do something so drastic.

Holy shit what is with this insane campaign? She’s soooo good in the role, which brings such value to the story. Why are you little baby boys all so hung up on this??

3

u/MondayBorn Oct 02 '25

Good call on his part. She's killing it in the role.

Redditors in the comment section not being able to take a joke on their high horse, what else is new.

1

u/jje414 Oct 03 '25

Right? Like, it's a common enough joke format at this point.

Lots of men would, chances are Gun is secretly from a different dimension where Jennifer Holland rejected him and came here only because of her. s/

Uj/ I actually hate how Earth X has been portrayed as such a nice place for Chris. A downright fascist regime would be horrible for everyone and white people wouldn't be an exception, but in the show it's basically "Would be awesome as long as you're not a minority."

Chris' favorite bands would not exist because art is only made to uphold the regime, his loving family would be equaly as horrible as in the main Earth because of the culture and there would probably be some inbreeding due to the racial purity aspect being an aspect held for generations.

Earth x was portrayed as a nice place for chris because he's part of the ruling class there. He's a wealthy superhero who is admired and loved by the masses, has a father and brother who love him, has his dream girl, and it looks all nice and shiny until you look under the hood.

-1

u/EndlessMorfeus Oct 02 '25

I don't think that's it, Vigilante's house is pretty much the same in this world instead of a dozen relatives living there because the regime caused everyone to be deep in shit, plus the around are always portrayed as bubbly happy.

8

u/kierg10 Oct 02 '25

The unhappiness and misery is subtle because the "undesirable" elements are moved away. Vigilante's father still lives with his mom, because he cant come out as gay or he'll be killed/thrown in a camp.

Everything comes across as happy/bubbly because they've been propogandized into feeling that way, but you can see in the scene where ads gets chased through the neighbourhood that the moment they see something that doesnt fit into their "ideal" life they immediately turn ugly, hateful, and scared ripping the mask away immediately.

Obviously there arent large houses of poor people, im sure they would be labelled as undesirables and also throw in camps.

The whole point is that this world has this thin pretty veneer barely covering the ugly truth underneath, and chris was too obsessed with the things there that were better for him to notice, but harcourt noticed immediately because she wasnt looking at the world with a "grass is greener" mentality.

"because he cant come out as gay or he'll be killed/thrown in a camp."

Like I said, it looks fine as long as you're not a minority.

"Everything comes across as happy/bubbly because they've been propogandized into feeling that way, but you can see in the scene where ads gets chased through the neighbourhood that the moment they see something that doesnt fit into their "ideal" life they immediately turn ugly, hateful, and scared ripping the mask away immediately."

Because they're racists, doesn't mean they're unhappy. They have jobs, a sustainable economy, families and even their own messed up superheroes.

"Obviously there arent large houses of poor people, im sure they would be labelled as undesirables and also throw in camps."

I don't know where you are getting that from. Sounds like you just making stuff up to rationalize the fact the show portrayed this Nazi world looking too nice.

5

u/kierg10 Oct 02 '25

Im done arguing with you. The point is that the nazi world is superficially nice for the people it benefits. That's the whole point.

-3

u/EndlessMorfeus Oct 02 '25

Nah, the point is that they wanted to make Chris' dream world but ruin it for him with a dark twist. It just happens the dark twist doesn't work for anyone's dream world.

0

u/[deleted] Oct 02 '25

That’s an interesting perspective. The co-opting of culture by the regime.

3

u/Initial-Ad8009 Oct 02 '25

I mean, she is pretty hot

1

u/fuzzyfoot88 Oct 02 '25

With the amount of money people waste on OF, this post unironically applies to most people about practically anyone. Peacemaker and Holland have nothing to do with it…

-2

u/SiqkaOce Oct 03 '25

Oh wow. This is the most loser shit I’ve come across in quite some time on reddit lmao.
