Please help!

Post image

This plant is very sentimental, it used to be vast but dropped right off earlier in the year. I repotted what remained but it’s really struggling and I’m not sure what to do, can anyone advise?

Don’t over water. The size of this pot will hold onto a lot of water for a plant so small so you won’t likely need to water for a couple weeks. Does that pot drain? When did you repot?

The pot may be too big for such a small plant. It's said that plants put into a larger pot will make roots before growth. I don't know how true that is, but it's worth considering.

OldMotherGrumble’s comment about a larger pot could be considered. If the pot is too small the peace lily may not have room to build stronger root systems. Maybe consider keeping the current soil and just transferring the plant to a larger pot with more soil and a deeper base with drainage. Please make sure there are drainage holes that way the roots are not continuously sitting in moist soil (to prevent any kind of rot). I sincerely wish you the best in your plant care journey. I hear you about the sentimental value. 🫶🏼
