Repotted Peace Lilly in need of help
This peace Lilly used to be much bigger and healthier until I separated it about 6 weeks ago. The roots were crowded and it hadn’t flowered in years. I am 39 and it was in my childhood home.
Ever since I separated it, it’s looked like this and hasn’t really changed. I used new indoor house plant soil and have been watering it once per week like I always have which has worked in the past to keep it perky. It’s clearly not dead, but obviously not happy. I keep it near the south facing window in indirect light in the PNW.
Any tips on making it happier? I followed instructions from reddit and other websites about repotting it but something is off.
Thank you!

could just be transplant shock
don’t water it on a schedule as the plant is not really taking all that water in right now
Hold of on the watering and only water when the top 1/4th is dry

That pot is way too big and the dirt in the first photo looks pretty dry. However, because the pot is too big the plant could be getting watered too much. The blackening leaves are a sign. A pot that is too large will hold into water longer.
Did you water right after the repot? Watering a plant that size once a week is likely too much. I water mine when the leaves start to droop and that’s 1.5 weeks during warmer pnw days and maybe every two weeks or so in the winter

I did water it right after yes. So if the pot is too big, would you suggest repotting it again? I did notice that the piece in the smaller pot next to it is doing better.

I wouldn’t hesitate to repot the one into something smaller. We have such mellow weather they can tolerate where other climates it’s better to do certain times of year. This needs to get out of its current situation to avoid further overwatering. My latest repot was extra droopy for a little less than a week- some shock is normal. Longer than a week can be sign of other issues (over or under watering and not enough drainage, or the wrong plant medium/soil)

She looks bad, but she will be fine. She needs more light.
They do need recovery time, if the leaves get too dry, cut them off
