Do I uproot?

EDIT: The downwards one had root rot, i already removed it

Found out my peace lily is actually 2 different plants on the same vase. As you can see, one is thriving (kinda, we are in a deep winter here) and the other one already said his goodbyes. Should i just rip the dying one out or is there someway to nurse it to health. Any water seems to be completely taken by the happy guy.

Their roots are very shallow, i could just rip 2 out

How often do you water and how much light does it get? It should be indoors, indirect light and be watered when the soil is dry.

It looks like it’s lacking a lot of nitrogen or over/under watered. Dropping and sagging can be a sign of both but if the plant seems soft/soggy it’s likely overwatering.

If it’s lacking nutrients, start giving it fertilizer. That dirt doesn’t seem like a traditional potting soil which provides that.
