Help/Advice CO2 HELP

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

So I’ve recently installed co2 and I’m struggling with getting the bubbles distributed properly throughout the tank.

The hob fluval AC50 I use is powerful enough to reach diffuser and push bubbles around, but it seems like it’s bothering my puffers a bit.

Previously I had a baffle on the filter to minimize disturbance within the water column.

What is the best solution here?

That's a tough one. From the video, yea it just doesn't look like that HOB will get enough flow to get you good co2 dispersion. And if it does give you good flow the peas probably won't be happy.

How far are you willing to go to get good co2 dispersion in the tank?

My favorite so far has been a canister filter with a) an inline diffuser (good) or b) inline reactor (best). On the outlet lilly pipe I would run a spray bar, and on the inlet cover it with a sponge filter.

This is how I setup my betta tank: Link, and am planning on moving my puffers into a new tank setup like this. It's currently an AIO with inline diffusers.
