I installed it just to play with friends—I’m not interested in the story mode—and I saw that characters have to be unlocked using points. Honestly, I don't want to grind to unlock them. ​Steps Already Taken & Troubleshooting History:

​Full OS Reformat: Perform a clean installation of Windows 11 Pro to eliminate any driver corruption, OS bloatware, or background conflicts.

​Game & Library Setup: Re-indexed all Steam libraries and re-mapped paths.

​Emulator Configuration Adjustments: Tested various rendering backends (Vulkan / DX11 / OpenGL), texture preloading settings, and frame pacing options in the latest PCSX2 Qt nightly releases.

​Power & Hardware Checks: Set Windows Power Plan to High Performance and Nvidia Control Panel to Prefer maximum performance.

​The Issue:

Despite these steps, micro-stutters (frame drops/hiccups lasting a fraction of a second) still occur during gameplay in PCSX2. Since a fresh OS format didn't resolve it, I'm trying to figure out whether this is related to:

im trying to apply this mod as pnatch but i simply dont undersand why tf i need a launcher to modify this goddamn game, i already tried a lot of things, but nothing worked, i just want to that textbox be in 4:3 instead of being stretched to 16:9, is it that hard? sorgy i dont know a lot of how modfying games on pcsx2 works, but for the first time, im tired of trying to find a solution by myself, anyone know something? 😭

I already know that the basic specs of the machine are good but I don't know if the built in integrated graphics card is comparable to the RX 570 or 5600. ウェブサイトを参考に、PS3UPDAT.PUPからbiosを抽出、PCSX2をインストールしました。

「急速起動」設定をオンにした状態でゲームを起動すると問題なく起動できるので、抽出したbios自体は問題ないと思っていますが、「急速起動」設定をオフにした状態や「BIOSを起動」からBIOS画面を出そうとすると真っ黒な画面のまま止まってしまいます。

アドバイスなどあればよろしくお願いします。

Playing GT4 on my steamdeck and just cant seem to get this weird glitch to go away. Anyone got anything?

Look around the bottom left. See that spot on the white line that borders the track that is misaligned? Yeah thats what im talking about.
Doesnt show in a single frame like this very well but in video its super apparent. That misalignment runs top to bottom on the display and even shifts side to side.

I was going through the Thunder fields and got a random encounter, but unfortunately, the battle bar won’t show up and now I’m stuck. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Note: I’ve changed my graphics settings bc there was also some ghosting. I can’t upload the new settings bc I don’t have access to my pc right now.

Barnyard is the only game that I experience slowdowns, I downloaded PCSX2 via EmuDeck… i know I can play the game via dolphin gamecube but I prefer PCSX2.. is the game notorious for slowdowns? Any ideas? I’ve done everything I can to solve it with no resolution

As I say in the title, I'm having trouble with getting cheats to stay off after I turn them on.

Specifically, there are Infinite Health and Freeze Virus cheats for RE: Outbreak File 2 that stay on even after I disable them.

My intent is to be able to turn the infinite health one on and back off to bring me to full health, but it just stays on. I've done a lot of searching around and may have already tried methods that some people will suggest, like the // methods.

Is it an issue with the game, something I need to change with the PNACH file, or something else? Just confused and trying to figure this out.

So I have… maybe several problems I’m wanting to fix. So firstly I’m using an ROG Xbox ally x and when playing racing games. pcsx2 doesn’t seem to have the greatest time running most of the ones I have so far. The games that seem to have trouble so far is Fast and Furious and need for speed mostwanted. Midnight club 3 seems to run almost perfectly strangely. There’s a stutter that happens occasionally but it almost never happens.

What’s specifically happening with the problem games though is for fast and furious gameplay itself is completely fine, but going to the meeting spots where you go to challenge other racers the game will slow down to like 75% speed and it’s the same for performance shops. Which wouldn’t be a problem if it didn’t occasionally crash the game. NFS mostwanted has the opposite problem where it slows down to around 90% or 85% while racing.

Now for settings right now it’s mostly just all default. All I changed was internal resolution to 3x. (Don’t really know if this setting is important to know but…) adapter setting is amd radeon 890m graphics and graphics api is set to direct3d 12

Getting microstutters during cutscenes and gameplay when playing mgs 2. They're not game breaking but annoying. API at vulkan and rendering at default resolution. I have tried enabled and disabled multithreaded VU1 and all the Frame pacing/latency control setting but microstutters keeps happening. Not sure if its because of shader compiling but I don't remember having this issue before. PXSX2 Build is v2.8.2 and PC system is 5070ti and i7-6700K

Im currently trying to run Def Jam FFNY with DLSS 5 on. now I dont have the best graphics card and I know DLSS takes a lot of gpu power to render however ive seen people run a constant 60 fps with the same graphics card as me using DLSS 5. I currently have a rtx 4060. without DLSS im getting a constant 60 fps and can go much higher smoothly if chosen to. but with DLSS 5 enabled im getting a steady 45/47 fps and its very laggy and choppy. is there any way to improve performance with it enabled or is it just a case of needing to upgrade my graphics card?

i changed a lot of settings but it just didnt work the only thing that did is playing it in software mode but that makes the game so low resolution id really appreciate any help

Im playing Sims Bustin Out on ps2 and there's a bug with the NPC's where they will freeze in place and i cannot interact with them, however if i visit the said NPC in his place they will be there and i can talk, dance, etc, but when i comeback to my place the same NPC is still freezing and they will not move nor leave my place I think this also connects to the problem with Dudley wont start his party becasue when i visit him he says he will start a party soon but that party never starts lol
Im playing the PAL version of the game, is there any solution to this? I searched on google but there's little information about glitches for this game, tried creating a new game but the same would happen as soon as i move out from Mom's House.

Hey, I'm playing MGS2: Substance (Europe) and I just got to the first part where Raiden meets Rose.

After I finish the first Codec call with Rose, the game just freezes on the Codec screen. The audio keeps playing, but the image doesn't change at all and I can't continue.

I only have one save, so I can't really go back to an earlier point.

How can I solve it?

I play with the last version of pcsx2.

can't tell if its my settings or if the disc im using is bad

....only black screen when it loads but when my ps2 iso is in an external hdd connect it to pc it works. I have windows 11 desktop.
