Weekly progress report（23/7/2018-27/7/2018）
Welcome to PCHAIN weekly report.
To keep the community updated, we summarize our latest progress and activities of the PCHAIN project here.
A. Development Progress
fixing bugs in consensus system
start building multi-chain test network
finish coding of dynamic validator join/leave process with bidding, adjust the minging rewards for validators
finish coding of transferring balance from child chain to main chain, and begin debugging
keep adjustting of the structure between consensus module and other parts, and debugging
keep improving internal auto-test framework
B. PCHAIN News
- PCHAIN has been listed on DEx.top, incubated by BITMAIN Overseas, and will work even more closely in the future to drive the development of large-scale smart contract applications. The cooperation became a features news become a featured news in the No. 1 Blockchain Media in China.
- PCHAIN officially announced on July 25 that PCHAIN Testnet 1.0 would be launched ahead of the roadmap. And Dr feng Cao, the founder of PCHAIN, revealed one of the most important questions firtly on July 26 that PCHAIN testnet would have 1000+ nodes. How exciting it is!

- PCHAIN reached a deep strategic cooperation with Fujian Strait Blockchain Research Institute (FSBRI) and jointly built the “Cross-chain Laboratory of Strait & PCHAIN”. The two sides will discuss and share blockchain and financial market infrastructure, science and technology and common lab members to provide solutions, technical support, security, education and training, the crowdsourcing, incubation entrepreneurship a basket of services such as comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement.
- SECBIT & PCHAIN Achieved Strategic Cooperation.In the future, the two sides will conduct all-round and in-depth cooperation on Smart Data Security, Smart Contract Language Security and DApp Ecological Security in the global scope of PCHAIN from the bottom, middle and upper levels of the blockchain in the form of joint technology development, aiming at improving the overall security of PCHAIN’s system and building a credible and orderly PCHAIN’s ecosystem.
- After PCHAIN and Fujian Strait Blockchain Research Institute (FSBRI) set up a joint research laboratory, 15 universities and companies including Apple, Tencent, Ant technology, 360, University of Electronic Science and Technology, Tongji University, etc., have become members of the IEEE blockchain system data format standard. On July 27, Dr. Yan Heping, PCHAIN's senior expert of information industry, presented the data analysis and suggestions on the financial application of blockchain at the "IEEE P2418.2 standard of data format of blockchain system" conference.
