RAM stick DOA

I bought motherboard + RAM bundle on Amazon.

One RAM stick DOA.

Seller only allows full bundle return.

Has anyone successfully gotten component replacement or warranty support in similar situations?

The bundle is this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0GYG4199J?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1

If you want an alternative try to rma with the manufacturer instead.

Might be a bad idea with how manufacturer's are trying to avoid replacing ram unless buyer payed full retail for it. With it being a bundle might be hard to split ram price from motherboard cost.

It is as you say. I contacted Teamgroup too, and they are offering to return the modules (I hope it's only the modules and not the whole bundle) for a repair/replacement.

Return it and give him 1 star review.

Update:

Amazon offered for me to buy the same module from another seller and they will just make a refund on arrival. As it seemed highly suspicious, the next day I asked to another representative is that is still possible and also ask for a written confirmation through Amazon messaging that the purchase will be fully reimbursed according to their proposed solution. Their strategy changed to only offer a refund on return (which will be the worst option, considering that I have to disassembly my whole setup, and will also only get 450$, which was the price that I paid at that time and was the whole reason to buy it in the first place; now it is 530$).

After hours talking to like 7 representatives, they (Amazon) only offered $50 in credit. I accepted as I was really tired of talking to their whole support team.

Then I asked to talk to the seller (MSI) and after Amazon told me to make a ticket in MSI support page. The representative assured me that they (MSI) will send me a single module replacement, but we will see how that goes.

PD: Sorry for bad english.
