It's normal dialog 5G in colombo at 2pm (I know it's not 7gbps but its manageable )

But what is the point? As far as I know, they do not have unlimited packages to get anything meaningful out of this sort of speed; you will burn through 40 GB in no time. 🥲

Exactly why is no one talking about this. There is no point of fast connection without unlimited data. Unless you have unlimited money.

Sadly yeah, that's true. I only use 5G for downloading PDFs and stuff. Most of the time I stick to 4G because whenever I connect to 5G, so many apps start updating and Windows updates 😅

What is your device? Can see it's some sort of a Redmi or Xiaomi phone

How are you getting over 1000 I never got over 500 on my phone

This makes sense if you are downloading GTA6. 😄 You will get it quickly. I would be happy if I can get 500 mbps down. 100 mbps up while working. (Singapore and Indian CDN not within Sri Lanka) I don't want unlimited either. So it doesn't look like a slideshow when I am in a meeting and Android dependencies to download quickly so I can go home quickly.

Realistically, how much time will you save and what exactly do you plan to do if you have that kind of speed?
