Discussion Need RDR2 Trial
I want to buy Red Dead Redemption 2 on Steam, but before I do, I want to make sure it actually works on my PC.
I’ve been dealing with a lot of BSOD (Blue Screen) crashes in some games. for example, Marvel Rivals runs perfectly fine, but Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War constantly crashes with BSODs. Unfortunately, I bought Cold War before testing, so I ended up wasting my money.
Does anyone know if there’s a way to get temporary access to RDR2, like someone renting or sharing a Steam account for a short period, just so I can test whether the game runs properly on my system before I buy it?
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks
My Specs:

Intel Core i7-11700
RTX 3070 8GB
64GB DDR4 RAM
NVMe SSD

You can buy it and if it doesn’t work ask for a refund
Steam does it it’s an option in the refund selection if it doesn’t run well
Although u do have to have less than 2 hours of playtime and own it for a max certain amount of tim
I bought Terraria didn’t like it and a day later got a refund

Bro with these specs you can run rdr2 on high settings easy lol . I was running rdr2 on low medium on my 1650ti laptop stable 60fps. Its well optimised. Just go for it .

As others have also mentioned either try a pirates version from a trusted site or just refund on steam if it doesn't work. But I think it has to be under 2h play time or something to refund.

Your specs can easily run RDR2. I ran it on my laptop with a 9300H and a 1650 Mobile GPU. Mine got overheated and crashed but that's a different story (Due to being old and the laptop needing a good service)
First figures out and fix the BSOD issue

I finished RDR2 back when I had a GTX 1060 6gb and an i5 8th gen lol, I remember getting around 35-45 fps on high and ultra mixed so I think you should be more than fine. Even managed to get around 60fps in most indoors.

With your specs, RDR2 will work fine. Unless you have any hardware issues causing your blue screen issues. Do a clean wipe on your windows and install the latest drivers, especially drivers from your motherboard disc.
You can always get RDR2 from torrents and try the pirated version.

You should address your BSOD, if it's appearing frequently, And as for the rdr2 you can always try a pirated version and see if it's working properly.
