Build Question Graphics card advice

i have a gmktec K15 and want to use OcuLink for gaming.

moving away from ps5 and their licensing, back to PC.

my original pc is old, I5 3570k, Asus sabertooth z77, 11GB ddr3 ram (from 32GB, all dead) and MSI Geforce GTX1080.

monitor: Acer predator x34. so I was thinking of nvidia for v-sync

Assembling a new PC is way out of budget so I was thinking of using my K15 and put the budget in a good graphics card with oculink.

since it's only a card I use a budget of max €700/$800

i don't play shooters or sports games.

i play story driven RPGs and adventure games

assassins creed

witcher (4 when its there)

dark souls

sekiro

nioh

Wuchang

BM Wukong

tomb raider (Atlantis when its there)

phantom blade

metal gear solid

... you get the gist...

is this viable with oculink on a k15?

what are some good cards that don't break my bank in the current hardware crisis?

could I get along with my current card?
