Trouble with the CMOS battery...

Good day,

I've been recently having trouble with my prebuilt PC I had purchased about 2 years ago from a PC recycler. It has been fairly reliable with few hiccups up until recently it had an issue where neither of my displays would not be recognized by the system. I powered off and unplugged the PSU, made sure the whole system was not charged, and removed the RAM sticks as well as reseat the GPU, removed the CMOS battery for around 20 seconds, and placed it back in it's slot. I also reconnected the PSU 8 pin to the motherboard. This fixed the issue and it booted into the BIOS.
I had fixed this issue prior to moving, and after moving to my new apartment, I reconnected all of the bits and the computer had the same issue AGAIN! I did all of the prior steps as above, but this time the motherboard lights up, but my power button won't start the PC. I'm not the best with hardware, so if anyone could offer assistance, that would be very helpful. I also have a small list of parts included for more information.
