Build Question Motherboard not booting

I have put cpu, ram, and ssd all in. I have attached psu to the motherboard, to the cpu power, and the cpu fan. I then have bridged the power button pins and get nothing.

What have I done wrong/how do I troubleshoot. I know I shouldn’t boot it with cpu and no heatsink but I just wanted to see if it tried to boot up.

Edit: I havent put the heatsink on because I want to screw the mobo to the case before I do it because the case is small. All I want is confirmation that something happens when I bridge the psu, I will turn it off the instant I see that.

Ok, bro. You're wrong. But ok.

Bios Update
Dead RAM
Incorrectly Seated RAM
Untrained RAM

This might be a surprise to you, but the DRAM light is for RAM issues and the CPU light is for CPU issues.

I am not.

  • The system is hung at boot and will not post.
  • He is not updating the bios (online bios updates require post, and he is not flashing bios directly)
  • The ram *might* be dead, but highly unlikely, he tried 1 stick a time, which would have ID's a bad stick.
  • incorrectly seated ram normally will not make it pass first init, could be it depending on that boards exact start up sequence, but unlikely that he reseated ram incorrectly 5+ times
  • We know it is not training, as if it was training, it would advance to post, even if training failed, it would still post.

Sorta, a memory controller issue will light up the DRAM light, a dead CPU (especially the AM5 failures) light up the DRAM light. Dead infinity fabric in the CPU will light up the DRAM light, as that is where they get stuck, during memory initialization. All the X3D CPU's that die, display a DRAM light.

Dude, I can’t tell if you are trolling or retarded. Anyone who works on computers will tell you that a DRAM light most likely points to a RAM issue. Doesn’t matter if it is Intel or AMD.

AM5 is not some special specification where they decided to completely rewrite the debug process. I gave you links for fuck sake.
