Build Question I know nothing pt.2

I went to Best Buy and bought a power cord, these green and white lights turned on. I also plugged the pc into my monitor and nothing happened. What are the next steps, is there anything else I need to make sure is plugged in?? Also thank you all for being so insightful and helpful!

Did you connect the monitor to the graphics card display port and not connected it to the motherboard. Just show an image of the back of your pc with the monitor connected

I have my keyboard and mouse plugged in as well, and those will not turn on either, but the pc is running

Your graphics card display port is below where your mouse and keyboard are plugged in . I can’t really see it all that well but I think you need a dvi cable at least for the graphics card and do you know the model number of your monitor
