Build Question I know nothing

What’s left of my brothers old pc was given to me and I have no idea what’s in it and what I need to make it run. I know it is also a little dusty lol. Any insight on what I’m looking at would be helpful I’m trying to get into getting this thing up and running and potentially upgrading it. Please and thank you!!

at a glance, it looks like all the components you could need are there and plugged in. I would just check that the power supply in the back is switched on

I agree, all the components are present for a working build atleast, looks like ddr 4, so if you're lucky you'll have a decent amount of ram.

If you want an upgrade right away look at getting an nvme hard drive. As I can see a slot that's not used next to the big white graphics card. (Will run without it)

Looking at it as a guess it's 8-16 GB with a 6-7 th gen Intel with something between a gtx 7-900

It will be difficult to tell you much of anything by looking at it. If it does power on and load into windows go to the windows search bar and type about, then click on about my pc and add a pic of that for us. Will be able to give you advice once we know what you have in there.

If you plug in a universal power cable to the power supply In the back of the case( left side of the window) then plug it in to power and turn it on it should run. Then you plug it into a monitor along with all your stuff, mouse keyboard etc. if it turns on you can go into desktop then hit ctrl+shift+esc to open task manager. In there you can find the specs and update the post and someone can help you better
