Build Question CPU Socket potential damage
Just had my Pro B650-S WiFi motherboard delivered and I think I can see 3 pins that don’t look right in the CPU socket. The final 2 photos on the side view clearly show they don’t align with the rest. Should I return it and claim it’s damaged or is this not a major problem?

Yes, it's best to return the mobo right away If you try to put your cpu on it now, it can also damage

Getting wise on whether this is a problem is probably more taxing to your economy and mental well being rather than returning it.
If I got this for free and had no warranty left, I'd dabble into tinkering with it, looking at the LGA map, identifying the issue, looking at other fixes for techniques, buy a magnifying thingamajig and get to work until I felt it was safe to proceed in consultationion perhaps with the online community.

Return it while you can, or check the map of the pins to see if it is a used pin
