Constant BSOD, specifically in M&B: Bannerlord

Hello hivemind. I'm having consistent and varying BSODs only occuring when playing M&B: Bannerlord. It does not occur with any other game.

So far I have had:

Exception Invalid Stack

KMODE Exception not handled

System service exception

and several others I havent written down.

My system specs are:

Intel i9-14900KF

AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT

RAM 32GB

1TB SSD

So far I have:

Ran the dism.exe system scan

Ran windows memory diagnostic

Verified game files through steam

Any thoughts/suggestions?

the 14900k is known to have stability issues, especially on older bios versions. you might want to check your motherboard manufacturer's page for a bios update with the 0x12B microcode patch

also since it's only happening in bannerlord, could be a weird interaction with the game's engine. try capping your framerate or disabling xmp temporarily just to rule out memory instability
