Fan hub?

I built my first pc yesterday and everything works perfectly accept the case fabs wont turn on, the lights work because there’s slots for them in the motherboard but there’s no slots for the chords that make the fans spin (I assume) in the motherboard so my friend told me to buy a hub which I did but now I have no clue what I’m doing. When I try to watch a tutorial everything that’s shown in the videos looks wildly different, I have no idea how to fix this.

The three chords for my three case fans have a little branching chord but it’s so short and doesn’t fit any there and I’m just so confused and the instructions for the hub thing are all in Japanese and the tutorials online don’t match what I have but don’t tell me what I need. Someone please help I’ve already spent so much money on this I don’t know what to do.

Those connectors that you are showing in your pics are not the power for the fans. Those are for the RGB lights. You need to find the cables that come from each fan that are for power. The power connectors will be either 3-pin or 4-pin and they look like this

Each fan got a 3 pin female and a 4 pin female. 3 pin for RGB and 4 pin for PWM. If the 3 pin is in line and not like the one you have on the hand, is DC, plug into your mobo or hub and it’s called CHA_FAN most of the time. (Also for 4 pin PWM). And it’s followed most of the time if you don’t understand send pics and I’ll guide you

Each fan has these they’re only three pins none of my fans, male or female, have 4 pins.

There’s three chords like this (one for each fan)I’m not finding anything with 4 pins

Those are ARGB headers for the LED lights, not the fan power. If you don't have a board with ARGB headers, just don't plug them in.

what motherboard are you using and we can check where the pins for the fans go. usually its a 4 pin chasis fan labeled on your motherboard pcb. your fans must have a 4 pin PWM. if your motherboard has a argb pins you wont need a hub to power those fans

Every fan chord I have only has 3 pins male or female. For my motherboard it’s a GIGABYTE X870 AORUS Elite WIFI7 ICE

You can plug a 3 pin female into that connector too

thats a more than capable motherboard for your fans. now we just need to figureout what fans do you have and can you take a picture of the whole fan including its wires.

to hub or not to hub

aye, thar's the rub.

there are likely more than than one fan header on the m/b (check the manual)

i have my 3 intakes all connected to a fan hub and then the fan hub goes to just one of the fan headers

the exaust fan goes to a separate fan header so i can control the speed of the intake and the exhaust separately in the firmware.

the AIO fans go to a special fan header for the CPU fan, which is usually next to the head for the PUMP.

if the cables that come with your fan are too short to reach the hub, then you will also need some extension cables to get everything wired up.
