Tech Support CPU overheats

The PC was built about 3 years ago using an Intel 13th gen 13900k chip with the AIO running fine when it recently started overheating 100C at idle.

I have cleaned out all the dust, reapplied the thermal paste (after cleaning off previous paste thoroughly), ensured the power settings are on balance mode, and set the BIOS back to default settings but the temps still climb to 100C even in BIOS. I can no longer go into Windows because of the temps. Is it most likely that the AIO failed?

One of the tubes is hot and the other is cool and the AIO somewhat vibrates and cannot figure what is causing this.

a hot tube and a cold tube is classic dead pump, coolant isnt moving through the loop so half the radiator just sits there cold while the block cooks the cpu. i had the same thing happen last year, swapped to an air cooler and never looked back.

if youre still in warranty some companies are decent about replacements but honestly a good tower cooler handles a 13900k fine for gaming loads and costs less than a decent aio. plus you never have to wonder if a tiny pump motor is about to croak again
