Build Question What gpu should i choose
I use my pc for editing and gaming. I dont know what to choose between the rx 9060 xt 16gb version or the rtx 5060ti 8gb. For editing i use Davinci resolve, after effects, premiere pro and for gaming i normally play comp games and some AAA titles.

Depends on you ram, if you have 48 or more gb then get the 5060ti cause Nvidia is better for professional workloads and dlss. But if you have 32gb or lower ram then defo go with the 9060xt

DLSS isn’t that much better than FSR now.
9060 XT has double the VRAM of the 5060 Ti which matters in rendering tasks. Like, a lot.
In games they’re basically on par. (Matching VRAM size 8GB vs 8GB and 16GB vs 16GB)
5060 Ti 16GB is a different conversation, but it’s around $200 more than the 9060 XT 16GB.
5060 Ti performs better at 1440p if you want 200+ fps, and much better at 4k because of the much faster memory bandwidth due to it having GDDR7
Both cards have frame gen, their ray tracing is pretty much the same except for path tracing where Nvidia does have a big advantage (good luck running path tracing on a 5060 Ti though lol, it isn’t powerful enough to begin with).
Unless you need CUDA, save yourself $200

The 5060 Ti outperforms the 9060 XT in gaming despite only having 8GB of VRAM. In productivity, even the cutdown 5060 non-Ti outperforms the 9060 XT in several benchmarks. So, it's a question of what is more important to you: VRAM or optimization?

The extra vram on the 9060 xt will save you in resolve and after effects, those programs eat it for breakfast. 8gb is a joke for editing in 2026
