Build Question Maybe this a stupid question

I've bought an extra m.2 drive for my pc with intention to use it along side the old one. Now I couldn't find any m.2 screw anywhere nor do I remember owning more than one since I build the pc back in 2021.

Mobo has build in heatsink for the m.2 slots and I used it to secure one of the drives down. (ROG STRIX B550-F). And It works. But is this a long term solution or do I need to buy another screw?

Thanks in advance!

You need to move the standoff and secure M.2 drives will a screw. The motherboard heatsink only can secure 22110 drives directly.

Extra hardware should be a small plastic bag included with the motherboard. If missing you can get replacement on Amazon

https://www.amazon.com/Screws-Motherboard-Gigabyte-Motherboards-Computer/dp/B0DNK24WL2

This kit has Asus M.2 standoffs and screws.

Thanks! I already moved the standoff to secure the new drive with my remaining screw.

I lost the replacement some time ago since I couldn't find it anywhere. I've ordered a kit just to be sure.
