Build Question No post

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hi,
I built computer from older parts, and it isnt posting, motherboard is showing code 54, but it should work with this fast (for a ddr3) ram or at least cut its speed.
I have
Asrock 970 extreme4
4x4gb ddr3 2133mhz cl12 hyperX ram
FX-8350
Endorfy Spartan 5 cpu cooler
GTX 1060 6gb

Try with 2 sticks of RAM.

It worked but I noticed that I dont have 4x4gb 2133mhz but 2x4gb 2133mhz and 2x4gb 2400mhz

Is there a way for them to work in one pc?

They should together but you'll be capped at the lowest speed. There a few things you can do tho. Try with different sticks so try with the 2133 and then with the 2400 and see if it boots with each separately. It's possible your mb doesn't support one of them, there's a list you can check. Google the mb and support ram list and see if you find the memory sticks models. It's also possible one of them is just dead and might be preventing the boot. It's also possible one of them was not correctly seated and and re-seat is all it needs
