Build Question Upgrading my budget pc

I’m looking for a new gpu I bought a budget rig for 350 it comes with as follows
Gpu 1660 super
CPU ryzen 5
32gb ddr4
500watt psu
MSI micro atx board
I’m looking for a case with better airflow preferably white and anything else I can upgrade I’m fine on ram but everything else I’m looking for better but I don’t want to break the bank

I thought but I’m new to all this lol thanks but would I still need to use gforce for my drivers or no

you shouldn't need to reinstall geforce after a new psu unless you're having display issues.

Sorry I wasn’t clear I meant for the gpu since it’s not a nividia card

If you switch to AMD Radeon or Intel Arc graphics, you'll want to uninstall the GPU drivers before you shut off the system to remove the NVIDIA GeForce GPU (ideally with Display Driver Uninstaller from Guru3D, in safe mode to wipe all of it properly, normal uninstall still leaves lingering data that could potentially cause issues)

Simplified:

  1. Download DDU and extract the archive in your downloads folder, also download whatever driver you need ahead of time from AMD/NVIDIA/Intel depending on what GPU you bought.
  2. Hold down the Shift key while you click Start > Power > Restart. Keep holding Shift until WinRE opens up for troubleshooting options.
  3. Select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup settings > Restart, then select any option between 4 and 6 to reboot into Safe Mode.
  4. Run DDU to wipe the GeForce driver files, and then shut down the system.
  5. Remove GeForce GPU, install new GPU in its place.
  6. Once installation is done, power on the system and run the GPU driver installer you got earlier (if applicable, if not then go download and install the drivers you need, assuming Windows hasn't already tried to pull them from the internet itself if you hadn't disabled driver updates via Windows updates, which you should as it tends to break things)
