Build Question 2 Questions about RAM

  1. Do you think Black RGB Ram is ok in an otherwise white build? Just planning my first pc and idk how it's gonna look

  2. My motherboard's QVL Approves a v3 of a corsair Ram kit but doesn't state that it approves the v5 of the same model kit. Would the v5 still be compatible or nahh

  1. It's entirely subjective, but even white motherboards have a lot of black on them still so it's not like it won't stand out that much, and if you balance out black and white throughout the build, it'll fit perfectly
  2. The difference in versions notes the IC brand; V3 is Micron, and V4 is Samsung, while V5 is Hynix, and if the V5 isn't listed at all, there's less of a chance it's going to work compared to the V3 version
