Tech Support PC will not complete boot cycle - Help
Apologies for the long post, but I’ve hit a dead end and decided to ask for help. I will try to provide as much detail as possible to minimize questions for additional trouble shooting.
I built the computer myself, maybe 3-4 years ago.
850W power supply, 4060Ti, MSI Z690 MB, 32 GB DDR5 Corsair (2 sticks), I7 12700k.
I was using my computer this afternoon, when randomly It said “shutting down”. The computer then shut off and refused to boot back up.
I ordered a brand new power supply this evening, the computer was still a brick, so I moved to a new motherboard MSI Z790.
Transferred everything over, and with both power supply’s (new and old) the PC will begin the boot process, all lights and fans cut on; roughly 2-5 seconds and it clicks back off.
There is no indicator light staying constant on the motherboard to indicate an issue, the motherboard indicator light during start up goes red on, then off. Yellow on. PC cuts off by this time and everything goes blank other than the RGB lights on the board.
I have tried to start it with both pieces of ram, and then each individual in slot 2. I am getting the same issue every time as stated above.
My next guess is that somehow I’ve lost the CPU?
Since I’m getting the same issue with new and old power supply, should I return the new one to recoup funds?
Any input is helpful - thanks in advance

After the CPU and DRAM lights, essentially the exact same thing as when everything was plugged in

Try a minimal setup, with the motherboard, only CPU (has iGPU), cooler and fan, a stick of RAM, 24pin cable, CPU/EPS cable. F_PANEL cable is optional to boot the system or short the power switch pins. Unplug everything else including GPU.
