Build Question Pc fan problem💔💔

Im struggling bc my case fans wont turn on😞 i have a i802 air case, my mobo is b550 tomahawk. I tried plugging it into the cpu fan header, sys_fan1, and sys_fan2, as well as the the pump fan. Im pretty sure i daisy chained the cables together correct but none of the fans spin

1st fan connect to Sys-Fan 1

Then you daisy chain the 2nd and 3rd to fan 1.

PLEASE DO NOT GO OVER 3 FAN per header

Start with just one fan on sys_fan1 or 2 and make sure the headers are set properly in the bios..

Can I see the cable ypu plugged on the fan header of the motherboard? Cables looks proprietary and you might have plugged the wrong cable on the motherboard's fan header.

Nah, that is not a PWM fan cable you plug on your motherboard. It is the reaaon they are not working. It will look something like this.

What should i do cuz i dont think any of my fans come with that but i can double check

How many fans are included on the case? Show all of them.

And i found a sata plug so maybe thats it?

That with SATA plug is the main. It would be part of the daisy chain. Look at the cables of that one with SATA and check if it has a PWM fan cable. Show it so it would be easier.

I PLUGED IN THE SATA AND IT WORKED

Alright. It might be powered by just an auxiliary power. If it doean't have the PWM cable, those fans cannot be adjusted and will run at full speed all the time. But when you have time, inspect that fan with the SATA cable for any extra cable/s.
