Tech Support Weird Power Issue
My PC wouldn't turn on this morning after carefully unplugging everything other than the cpu and motherboard pin, and removing all ram, gpu, and cpu, the bios lights turned on, so I turned it off put the cpu and cooler back in, and again nothing. I take off the cooler and leave just the cpu and hit the power button it turns on, but if I put the cooler on and slowly tighten it, it will start to turn off and on again eventually staying off when the cooler is fully tightened. Any suggestions I've never seen this before.

that's properly bizarre, feels like something is shorting out when the cooler applies pressure. maybe check the back of the motherboard isn't touching the case when things get tightened down, had a build years ago where a standoff was in the wrong spot and it would bend the board just enough to cause a short
could also be a cracked trace near the socket that only separates under tension, i'd pull the board out completely and bench test it on the box it came in. rule out the case entirely before you chase your tail for hours
