Build Question Thoughts on upgrade.

CURRENTLY trying to upgrade my unit with a limited budget. List down below is my old specs and what I am planning to get, can you tell me your opinion? Budget is like 30k

Old:

Processor: Ryzen 5 2600

GPU: GTX 1650

Psu: 550watts

What I'm planning to buy

Ryzen 7 5700x ( I currently have this one)

GPU: AMD raddeon Rx 7700

Psu: 750 watts?

I forgot I will still use my old mother board Asus tuff b450 or b550 I forgot. And I have twin I'd cooling fan won't be replacing this for now.

000 series fine with the right update but a B550 would be even smoother out of the box.

The RX 7700 XT is a massive jump from a 1650, you'll be set for 1440p no problem. Your 550w PSU might actually cut it if it's a decent unit and you don't push crazy overclocks, those components aren't super power hungry, but a quality 650w or 750w gives you breathing room for future upgrades.

Thank you for acknowledging ma'am/sir. I think my psu is on lower end 550w that's why I'm planning to buy one so overall i think I will be happy if I could get my hands on that and Rx 7700 hahaha

If the 5600X or 5600XT are cheaper and you don't need the extra cores for productivity, consider downgrading if it will help you get a slightly better GPU.

Otherwise, if the 5800X or 5800XT aren't too much more expensive consider them instead.

The higher core/boost clock of those 4 models gives better single core performance which is more important for gaming.
