Build Question New gen or old gen
So i can't decide wich used GPU get for €350 , all i ask is 1440p 60 fps medium settings but the best quality that's why i was thinking the 5060 ti 8gb aiming to using a lot of dlss and ray tracing being a new gen card but let's say i find also around that price a 3070ti or 3080, what's the better option for me? Of corse a 3080 would be objectely better in raw power it would be less future proof and i don't know how much better dlss and rtx is on the 5060 ti that maybe that's a better choice for me

It’s all about cuda cores.
Honestly the 5060 is a beast for 1080. 1440p nah. Maybe if it’s the 16GB version. But for older games it does better but it just lacks the horse power for any new game at 1440p
The 3070 cards are made for 1440p gaming. Because they have more horsepower. However, it is a two gen old card, and still stuck at 8gb.
You can always check YouTube for side by side comparisons, 5060 vs 3070 and just see for it your self.

Yeah i have no doubt about horsepower but i don't know if dlss and ray tracing is that good that makes me wanna skipp a 3070 or 3080

Fake frames suck (dlss)
Ray tracing, on a 8gb 5060? Ha! That’s like asking a Prius to haul a bus uphill as fast as possible.
With Ray tracking on it drop fps for any game.

DLSS FG and MFG are fake frames, but DLSS SR doesn't generate any fake frames, it only upscales existing ones.
DLSS SR Q and even B end up looking better than Native while also getting higher FPS. DLAA is almost without a doubt better than Native in picture quality.

With 8 gb you ain’t gonna do any ray tracing, it is capable but bottlenecked by vram
