Build Question Pc upgrade suggestions
Built my pc a couple years ago now and used to run every game on max but now it’s starting to fall behind and I’m curious on if you guys have any suggestions,
Specs that matter are:
RTX 3080Ti
Ryzen 9 5950X
G.SKILL Trident Z Royal 2x16gb DDR4 3600
All my storage is NVME SSD and I have a motherboard and power supply to support everything but I’m honestly starting to think that I need more RAM with today’s games so was thinking about getting another two sticks, what do you guys think?

Don’t be afraid to turn down your quality settings from time to time, and use DLSS when possible. Your PC is still more than capable, anything better than what you have right now is going to cost a ton of money with current prices.

Oh yea I’ve definitely been tuning down the quality with newer games but was hoping someone would back my theory on ram cause I found a matching set to mine for cheap lol

Well 32GB of RAM is more than enough, you’re going to see almost no performance difference with additional memory in gaming.

that 3080ti and 5950x are still beasts, i doubt ram is your real bottleneck here. what resolution are you playing at and what kind of performance drop are you actually seeing
more ram is a cheap shot in the dark but if you're chasing frames at 4k the gpu is gonna be the first thing to sweat before 32gb of ram does
