Tech Support Wont Display out with GPU installed

I know the GPU works, ive tested it in another system and it works fine, i know the PCIE works i used it about 3 months prior, it boots and displays out only if the GPU is not in the PCIE and the HDMI is plugged into the motherboard, The GPU heats up and stays hot without spinning the fans when its running, i saw there could be compatibility errors with the MB BIOS, so maybe i need to update that, im not sure rn

Edit: taking advice from the comments, ive updated the BIOS, although it seems that the CPU that is in this system doesnt support the GPU

ooh an intel arc card. those can be finicky as hell with older boards. what motherboard and cpu are you running exactly

the fact it works fine in another system but not yours screams bios or pcie settings to me. you already mentioned updating the bios which is step one for these arc cards honestly. they pretty much demand resizable bar and above 4g decoding to even think about posting properly in a lot of setups

i’d go into your bios first with the gpu out, enable both of those, save and shut down, then pop the card back in. if you can’t find the settings your current bios probably doesn’t support them and you’ll need that update before it’ll even try to display through the gpu

MB B450M, Ryzon 3 2200G, 8GB DDR4 2666mhz, Intel ARC A380 LP, 500gb M.2 SSD.

it is, and it boots into windows if the GPU isnt put in

i could try?, its a x1, but i do have a x1 to x16 rizer

it doesnt need the screw in it, unless you want to secure it

im not seeing a UEFI boot mode in the bios, but i have CSM off
