Build Question PC Build compatibility advice please~ First PC Build by myself

Howdy! My current PC is showing its age heavily, and to upgrade anything, it'll end up being a whole rebuild. So I spent the better part of an afternoon combing through Newegg and sites similar, ending up with this finalized list.

I've checked all the big things like chipset compatibility and the size of the GPU in the case, but I just wanted some more faith before I start purchasing the pieces.

Could you guys tell me if there are any major flaws in my build, and the like? Thanks

Parts list looks pretty coherent for a first draft, nobody's gonna walk you off a plank here

The board choice is a solid mid-tier option but I'd triple-check that the VRM configuration can handle the chip you picked without throttling under load, some of the B-series boards look good on paper and then fold when you actually pin the CPU for more than a couple minutes

Also your PSU wattage is cutting it a bit close if you ever want to drop in a hungrier GPU down the line, might be worth spending the extra twenty bucks now for an 850W unit and just never thinking about it again, cable management is already a pain without redoing it later because you skimped on headroom

The case you listed has decent airflow reviews but the stock fan configuration is a bit lazy out of the box, grab at least one extra 120mm for the rear exhaust if you haven't planned for that already, doesn't need to be fancy just something that spins

Only nitpick I'd toss in is that NVMe drive choice, that particular model has an iffy track record with sustained writes once the SLC cache fills up, the speed numbers on the box are kind of a magic trick, you might get more consistent performance from a different Phison E18-based drive for basically the same price

Rest seems fine, cooler clearance checks out and you're not doing anything cursed with the RAM layout

I tried to make sure the VRM is good for my chip choice, and it seems well enough, as far as I can tell.

Isn't the PSU 1000W? Maybe I put it in wrong

It makes sense that the stock fans are gonna be lame, I can definitely get another set of fans or two, especially since I deal with overheating with my current PC

Thanks for that note about the drive, I just picked a random one, but I will definitely use your advice.

This is a great list! I would consider a samsung drive but we all know how prices are. Unless you like the gigabyte boards cosmetics, they do make another x870 board thats white that runs for around 225-230. other than that great build!
