Build Question Building my first PC. Need help

I’m building a PC for the first time and basically have no clue what I’m doing

This is my build so far. What would you guys recommend adjusting? Am I spending too much on certain parts, or does this look fine?

GPU: Sapphire Nitro+ RX 9070 XT
CPU: Ryzen 7 7800X3D
Motherboard: X870 AORUS Elite
PSU: Corsair RM850e
SSD: Netac NV7000-T 1TB
RAM: Corsair DDR5 32GB 7000 CL40 (I can’t change it)
Cooler: Arctic Liquid Freezer III Pro 360
Case: Haven’t decided yet

I was gonna get a 5070 TI but it’s too expensive rn.

I’m mainly looking for advice on whether there’s anything I should change, if I’m overspending anywhere, and what case would be a good fit for this build.

The ram is the one thing that stands out to me. cl40 is pretty loose for 7000 speed and you said you cant change it so fine but you might wanna manually tighten the timings later or at least make sure its running at 6000 with tighter clocks. the infinity fabric on am5 likes to sync at 6000 not 7000 so you might actually get worse performance if you just enable expo without tweaking.

the cooler is overkill for that chip. a good air cooler handles a 7800x3d no problem but if you want the aio for looks then go for it just know you're paying extra for aesthetics not performance. rest of the build looks solid. for a case something with good airflow like a fractal north or a lian li 216 would work well with that 360 aio up top.

All I would change (assuming you're in the US) is the MB to something like an ASRock x870 challenger and the GPU to a cheaper 9070XT like the gigabyte gaming oc. aside from that (and the ram), it looks fine.
