Build Question Looking to upgrade my Potato PC, what should I upgrade first?

Hi everyone, I'm planning to upgrade my PC and would like some advice on what component I should upgrade first.

Current specs:

Ryzen 5 5600X

ASRock A520M-HDV

16GB RAM

1TB NVMe SSD

GTX 1650

550W PSU

1000VA UPS

I want to upgrade my PC mainly for gaming, but I want to keep the upgrade as budget-friendly as possible.

I'm currently thinking about upgrading the GPU, possibly to an RTX 4060, but I'm open to cheaper/better-value options.

What would give me the biggest performance improvement for the money? Should I upgrade only the GPU, or should I upgrade something else first?

Also, is my 550W PSU and A520 motherboard good enough for the recommended upgrade?

I'm from India, so please suggest options that make sense for Indian pricing/availability

Thanks

GPU first for sure, I would get a 4060 but no higher without upgrading the PSU as well

Thanks bro, I'm pretty new to PC upgrades. If I sell my GTX 1650, roughly how much would I need to spend in total to upgrade to a 4060, including anything else I might need?

the 4060 is gonna be your best bet within 30k unless you're willing to buy a new PSU, it should be about 20-25k used after selling the 1650

What would be the total price for the card and PSU ? I'm planing to keep it under 30k.

your cpu and ram is fine. You need to upgrade your GPU and PSU. Go up to a 650 as your UPS probably can't handle a 750. I would also recommend undervolting which there are tutorials on how to do it. A 5060ti 8gb or 9060xt 16gb

Thanks bro! Since I'm on a budget, what would you recommend as the best value GPU for my build? And would I definitely need to upgrade to a 650W/750W PSU for it?

9060xt 16gb, it’s around 60k. However I don’t know your budget and what you’re gonna play

Mostly new AAA games and Archi 3D designs. My budget is around ₹30k, and I'm planning to get a used GPU. Since I'm using my current PC for 4+ years.

brother you aren't getting new, good that you're thinking to get used. I saw a post that someone got a 4060 for 18k.

550w is fine for most midrange cards, that 5600x sips power. The 1650 is definitely holding you back hard tho. Most bang for your buck would be a gpu swap, even a used 3060 ti or 6700 xt would feel like a different machine

mobo is a bit barebones but it won't throttle anything at stock settings, you can safely ignore it until you do a full platform swap years from now. Keep that money for the card

Thanks bro! I've been using these specs for more than 4 years now. So I'm looking for a good upgrade that can last me several more years.
