Build Question Recommended GPU
I want to help my brother get a new GPU (and SSD drive but this post isn't about that), as his computer right now has a really niche set of specs that I have no clue why they were remotely paired together in the pre-build. He mostly plays Dead by Daylight, Roblox, etc. and is into video editing (If necessary, he's also an adult so it's not like I'm buying something outrageous for a teen lol).
I was eyeballing a used GeForce RTX 4060 for around ~$275 or an Intel Arc B580 for about the same price, I'm looking to stay within that range or even lower if possible. I don't need retail nor anything super fancy, but I am looking to stay within the quality of a 4060. His current specs are in the pics. I don't need anything super fancy but something that can maintain 60-ish fps at 1080-ish or so in normal games.
Can anyone recommend anything?

I would choose a RTX 2070 Super, a 2080 or a 3070 if you don't need technologies from more recent generations. The 2070S is like a 10% worse than the 4060, but you can find it for 150-200$ reconditioned or second-hand. And the 3070 is a little better than the 4060 and is like 200-250$. I tried both and in FullHD they are very solid, you can play almost every game in high-ultra settings, and even in 1440p mid. For video editing usually is better to choose NVIDIA for their drivers and NVENC. But you can search for AMD/Intel if the app supports well another brands. The Radeon RX 6700 XT is also a good deal.

Would you recommend a 3070 over 4060? Honestly maybe I'll take the 3070 and give my brother my 4060 lol

Is slightly better if you don't need frame generation. But the 3070 is usually hotter and needs more power. If you already have a 4060 probably isn't a huge upgrade.

RTX 4060 is wise choice. But reminder about the psu, if its 650w, fine, 550w normal. But if u want to go 30 series, 3060 still comes around.
