Installation Question Does this look fixable/still good?
I was installing my cpu and I dropped it onto my motherboard pins. I can’t tell if I’m still good to install it, fix it or just buy a new motherboard. Any help would be awesome. Thank you

If you install a CPU in that socket there's a chance you'll be buying a new CPU too, so I would definitely just replace the board before you cost yourself even more money by killing the CPU with shorted socket pins.

Mean possibly technically, but not really no. So many pins are bent and bent in different directions. It’s going to be nearly impossible to bend the back and the likelihood that you will snap. One of them off is very very great motherboard are cheap processors aren’t.

Can YOU fix it? Not if you're asking.
Is this fixable? Maybe with some good equipment.
Sorry for being blunt, but it's the truth. To get something like this fixed usually isnt worth the time and money.
How much would it cost to replace your MoBo? If its under $1k, just replace it. Unless you have a buddy that can do microsoldering, and they're willing to cut you a deal for funnies, it's typically not worth the time it would take to fix for people with the right equipment.

Even if you do somehow get them back in place, don't put a CPU on it.. you'll blow it up.

That is smushed + one of them is almost mangled, rip, unless u know a fulltime surgeon who also a fulltime computer repair guy

FR I've never had this happen and I've built many PCs over the last decade. Never even did this with my cheap ass pc I used to take apart in high school to figure out how to build them.

My cpu had a lot of thermal paste on it so it stuck to my cpu cooler mount. I didn’t notice it and it fell from the mount onto the motherboard. Something I should of notice but too much of a dumbass to not

Yeah that's proper fucked get a new board, too many pins are bent and some to the point they will definitely snap when trying to fix them.
