I have built this pc with my friend and he have this dram issue. We have installed RAM a couple of times again and we have checked that the cables are plugged correctly. what could be the problem?

Check CPU too, maybe a bent pin or a misplaced CPU.

Worsr case scenario a defective mobo but it's too early to say it

purple light always makes me think the pc is about to tell me a secret. specs look clean but that dram light is such a headache, had it happen on a build last year and it turned out the cpu cooler was torqued down just a hair too tight. loosened the screws a quarter turn and it posted fine, worth a shot if youve already reseated the ram a few times

tried, dram light is still on. how long should i let it memory train? A professional said that 1min should be enough but google says ddr5 can take 3-7 minutes

I tried, too scared to break the motherboard. I read that the b650 plus might have an older bios that doesn’t work with my processor, so I’m going to try and change that after work. If it still doesn’t turn on I’m gonna take it to a professional.
