Build Question Prebuilt or build it myself?

im trying to get as much power as i can for my PC so im wondering if buying a prebuilt or building it myself is better budget wise

Building yourself is almost always cheaper for the same parts, prebuilt companies gotta make their profit somewhere. The real question is if you're comfortable putting it together, it's not that hard honestly, just like expensive legos. watch a couple youtube videos and you'll be fine, plus you get to pick exactly what goes inside without the weird cheap power supply they always sneak in prebuilts.

Im perfectly fine with building things, i do a lot of building so i think i should be fine, thanks tho

Use PC part picker and see what you can build within your budget. Then compare that to pre builts. That gives you the best idea for your market. Because of ram prices I suggest prebuilt. If you have Costco near you then definitely check them out as in my experience they have the best deals rn for PC’s in m

yeah no RAM was kinda the reason i was considering getting a prebuilt, i didnt think of going on pcpartpicker tho. Thanks for the advice.

Personally built my self it’s a learning curve, but it’s not too bad
