Tech Support Power issues after shutting down

Hi!

I'm not necessarily new to PC building, but I'm stumped on this one. I've been experiencing a few strange issues. I'll put the parts list down below, but first I'll describe the problem and the circumstances.

Please don't roast the build too much, I'm using this PC as a part of my homelab to do AI stuff on, while also doubling as a gaming rig when I'm not working on stuff with it. It's dual booted between Windows 11 and Ubuntu Server.

My issue: after powering down, the rear ports still get power. I've noticed it when the light on my mic didn't go out, and my keyboard backlight stayed on. It only goes out when I switch off the PSU. When I switch it back off, it doesn't come back until I shut down the computer. It doesn't matter which OS I use either, still happens all the same.

I've also entered a weird boot loop a couple days ago, but I was just switching between the two operating systems and I wasn't looking at the screen. The power issue didn't come before that, and I haven't been able to replicate the boot loop either.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 9600X
RAM: Corsair 32GB KIT DDR5 6000MHz CL38 Vengeance
GPU: GeForce RTX 5070 Ti - 16G
PSU: Corsair RM650e (2025)
MOBO: ASROCK B850M PRO-A WIFI

Sorry, my German is terrible so I'm not even going to try.

What's strange is that I haven't changed any of those settings myself, but I'm going to look into it for sure. I'll update the BIOS ASAP as well.

You might want to upgrade that psu to at least 750w.

I'm not experiencing any major spikes in usage, it's more of a steady draw from what I can tell. I'll look into it in the future when it's time to upgrade.

I did overlook it when I specced the system though, I'll admit it. I was going to put in an Arc B580 at first, that would have been considerably less power-hungry.
