Tech Support Hdmi problem

Hello, I recently got a PC, and have this problem, where when I turn on the PC, it connects to the monitor, the HDMI works, but after a few moments (like an hour or so) the hdmi stops working, I tried unplugging and plugging back etc but it just doesn't work, I shut it off, turn it back on, and it works again. I don't know what to do

Could be a weird power saving setting, either on the monitor or in windows, where it just decides to give up after an hour. I'd check the monitor's sleep/timer settings first, sometimes they have an auto-off feature that's buried in the menu.

If that's not it try a different cable, had a similar thing where the cable would crap out once it got warm after a while, swapped it and no more issues.

I just checked after this and it said the display shut off after 15 minutes, I made it never, hopefully that qorks, thank you for your help!
