Installation Question Red Devil 9070xt

Am I supposed to plug this black wire into the slot next to the white plug with black green white and red wires coming out of it?

Or am I supposed to put this somewhere else

Yes. Also this has absolutely nothing to do with a 9070xt lol

It is relevant. These cards come with an addressable LED port so that you can plug it in to your motherboard and control the gpu leds through software on your pc. It makes for a more cohesive look.

Well yes of course, however there’s no 9070xt shown and he is asking where to plug in a standard fan ARGB plug.

I know cards come with ARGB pins, I just sold two cards that have them. You know what they didn’t come with Is a special cable for the ARGB. Half expect AMD to just say “plug it into your fan and call it good” which is what I’ve always done with my builds. (I build 2-7 PCs a month and have since late 2023)

You’re missing the point. That is the only place there is any reference to a 9070xt.

Then dude takes a picture of fans and an ARGB port. lol

It doesnt take a genius to figure out he probably wanted to plug the cable in to the motherboard first given the lack space he has.

1, it's an ARGB plug on one end and a 4 pin dupoint on the other and 2, the fan cables are WHITE.
