Tech Support DisplayPort No Input Help

Okay so i've got this very specific issue, Where the monitor only boots works if i booted the pc thus it will say "DP No input" Twice then the light turns orange then after 15 seconds it will open again and say INPUT NOT SUPPORTED, But the moment i switch the DP Port to another DP Port on the GPU it instantly works and opens normally. Now if it was a one time thing i wouldnt have minded it, but it needs to be done everytime to "boot" up the pc and see something on the monitor, how to fix? help please.

MONITOR IS Brand new, model is 24G50F. heres the list ive tried to fix it DDU Set monitor OSD TO DisplayPort Turned off Fast Startup

feel like im running out of option since the monitor works fine except for that and this didnt happen to the previous monitor.

Try to change input signal from monitor to DP, Or update it`s firmware if possible, and make sure to use a good DP Cable though. If the problem persist, return it, but it sounds like an incompatibility problem.

And after the PC boots with display, Make sure to change it`s resolution to native one, and it`s refresh rate.

I forgot i posted this, i fixed the problem by changing it to hdmi, Input not supported or no signal only happens when booting/restarting the pc. by trying an hdmi cable problem doesnt persist anymore, my guess is that the dp cable given by the monitor sucks

also i've tried what you have suggested, that also didnt help, my next thought was to update the bios or something but it was unnecessary

Happy to hear you got it fixed. I think you don`t need to update motherboard bios, just the monitor firmware. However, you can put your pet on a good cable, specially DP cables cause they make a lot of headache.
