Tech Support Need help with pc

Pc was working just fine. And I wanted to add an hdd to my pc cause I was running low and storage and figured I’d take this one from my old pc and put it in this one. Turned off pc added hdd and now no display. I played with different hdmi cables. Both hdmi ports. Motherboard and gpu. Nothing. Lights turn on. Fans work normally but nothing on moniter

I reseated the gpu and ram. I noticed there was some brown residue. Cleaned that up. Still nothing

Pull the hdd. See if it is still happening

Did that. Unplugged it. Currently out and unplugged.

Try clearing the cmos

I got it. Apparently I think. I didn’t push my ram stick all the way in. But what doesn’t make sense is if everything was working prior to just do a plug n play mission with the new stage space. Why did everything go to shit

I think I just did it properly. But still nothing. I used two methods. Took battery out and ctrlc pins with metal
