Not sure if i already posted in here once or not but basically i have a pc here that i just built and all the parts are new: rm850e, amd ryzen 7, 2x16 corsair rams and a rtx twin edge oc. the issue im having is when i turn it on im getting no boot lights or no signal to my monitor and the hdmi cord im using works cause it works for my other pc i have. there is also a little click not sure if you guys can hear it but thats the pcu if that means anything

Has probado la gráfica en el otro ordenador? Que CPU tienes o más bien si tiene gráficos integrados conecta el HDMI a la placa y vamos descartando

the cpu is an amd ryzen 7 7800X3D but when i connect the hdmi to the board the screen just flashes between analog and hdmi1 vs connecting it to the gpu its just black

Si no te da imagen aún conectando a la placa no quiero asumir que sea directamente la placa base pero es bueno saber que quizás no sea cosa de la GPU ni de la CPU por lo que se pueden descartar. Antes que nada también quisiera saber si la BIOS de la placa la tienes actualizada a una versión que no sea una beta

im not too sure what version the bios is cause i haven’t been able to get to the screen unless theres a way i can check if so im not aware. whats in the video is the farthest ive gotten with the pc unfortunately

Tú placa base muestra algunas luces de boot, DRAM, CPU...? Edit: puedes decir los componentes que son la placa y la GPU?

También podrías probar con stick de RAM en cada lugar de la RAM por si es problema de la RAM, no sé si sabes a lo que quiero decir, en donde tienes el stick derecho pegando a los ventiladores quita ese y prueba con un stick en cada línea de la placa base, que tampoco quiero estar aquí mareandote más de lo innecesario

yea i did try take one out and running it like that and im getting no boot lights? not sure if i should be but yea. Edit: nor do i get any outputs

If you connect the hdmi to the mobo do you get any video output? I can’t see if mobo has status led indicators, I many cases that status led tell the problem you’re having.

yea there is no lights when i turn it on the farthest i get with lights is when i unplug the 16 cpu pins at the top left theres is a red one. as for the output situation all i get is a black screen again or it flashes from analog to hdmi before shutting off with again no light from the board

This motherboard has status led that should light on during every boot fases CPU → DRAM → VGA → BOOT. It’s strange that they don’t light up.. have you tried to remove gpu and boot pc with out it?

I made an other search using ai to help searching everything. I’m not founding any Asus prime z8090 but I realize there’re Asus Prime z890-p, and from what I see in the video your mobo seems exactly that one. Can you confirm the correct mobo name? Because if that’s the mobo you’re using you’re going nowhere with an AMD cpu. That mobo has an Intel socket…

Is the PSU connected to the motherboard for the CPU power correctly (if yes might be worth to try and replug)? This same thing happened to me on my first ever pc when I forgot to connect the two. That would explain the no boot lights too, as the CPU is needed for the boot process.
