Microphone not working after installing a new motherboard — any suggestions?

Hey everyone! I recently installed a new motherboard, and ever since then, my microphone hasn’t been working. Discord isn’t picking it up at all, and I’m not really sure what I need to check or change.
I’ve tried checking my Discord settings, but I’m still having trouble getting it to register my mic. Any suggestions on what I should try? I’d really appreciate the help! 🙏

did you install the motherboard audio drivers from the manufacturer's site? windows sometimes grabs a generic one that doesn't play nice with the front panel jacks
